  • Divine Fits, a super-group of sorts featuring Britt Daniel from Spoon, New Bomb Turk's Sam Brown, and Wolf Parade's Dan Boeckner, played their first show together in Austin last year before going on to release one of the best LPs of 2012 with A Thing Called Divine Fits. The came full circle last night by playing some brand new music, again in Austin, at this year's SXSW festival (which KEXP is covering!). Below is the fan-shot clip from their set of the as-yet-title-unknown song. [CoS]

  • Christopher Owens released his solo debut Lysandre after his band Girls broke up, and the album was surprising to many of his fans by its carefree levity. And that aspect of the music is only reinforced by the new video for "Here We Go". the album opener. The black and white video shows Owens and company smiling, goofing around, playing music and basically making it look like their tour is just a whole lot of fun. Check it out after the jump. • More new music from SXSW! This time from the Cloud Nothings. The band also released a great LP in 2012 but vowed to return next year with something even "noisier". Judging by the fan-shot clip below they're going to make good on that promise. [CoS]

  • Ghostface Killah has previewed a new track from his upcoming full-length Twelve Reasons to Die. The chilling "Enemies [feat. The Delfonics]" is smoothed out by the guest appearance of The Delfonics' singer William Hart, who sings paranoid and reverb-drenched hooks around Ghostface's verses. It's pretty awesome, and bodes very well for the rapper's tenth album. [CoS]

  • Wayne Coyne wants you to switch to Virgin Mobile. Mr. Coyne has been quite busy on the national stage recently. He's been doing super bowl commercials, bringing grenades through airports, and now he's filmed a wacky commercial for Virgin Mobile that deserves a watching. If anyone could re-train your brain, it might be Wayne. [Stereogum]
