  • The Strokes have unveiled the video for their new single "All The Time". If you just barely follow the band then I bet you've heard how they are prone to long, random breaks. We had to wait five years for the 2011 album Angels, so it's no wonder fans are thrilled to have another collection just TWO years later! The video serves as a fun montage of video recordings, road trips, rehearsals, and it's nice to see that The Strokes' still seem to enjoy working together. I assume the video is supposed to trigger some nostalgia and remind the audience of what made (makes?) the band so great. Their new album Comedown Machine will be available on March 26. [Stereogum]

  • Last week James Blake released the track "Digital Lion" from his upcoming Overgrown album, but today he is giving us something a little different. Instead of appearing on the album, "And Holy Ghost" will be featured on the b-side of his "Voyeur Dub" (from Blake's own label 1-800 Dinosaur). The single has an eerie feel to it, but it has sporadic bursts of energy that make it classic Blake. Take a listen to "And Holy Ghost" from a BBC Radio 1 broadcast below: [CoS]

  • In less than two weeks (March 26) Depeche Mode's new studio album Delta Machine will drop courtesy of Columbia. The track "Sooth My Soul" is now available for our listening pleasure. It's a fresh, electronic experience that has me playing the song on repeat. After 30 years, Depeche Mode still makes some of the best music out there. [Stereogum]

  • Ending this post on a hilarious note, a genius YouTube user has taken it upon themselves to mash up Thom Yorke's dancing in the Atoms For Peace video "Ingenue" with Genuwine's R&B classic "Pony". The results are fantastic. Yorke's impressive and goofy dance grooves become surprisingly sensual when paired with lyrics like "If we're gonna get nasty, baby, first we show and tell. Till I reach your ponytail". By the way, I love that Yorke actually has a ponytail. I don't think there could have been a better way for me to start off my weekend. Sit back and enjoy the ride (pun intended). [SPIN]
