Live Around Town This Week

We start off the week with a bang! On Monday night you’ve got your choice between three great shows. English band Spiritualized are performing at Neptune Theatre, Dublin Ireland’s Little Green Cars are with The Horde & The Harem at Neumos, and Fitz & The Tantrums play with Bear Mountain at Columbia City Theater. On Tuesday, Jessie Ware is at the Crocodile, Phosphorescent and Strands of Oak are at Neumos, and The Stevedore and Ponyhomie are at Sunset Tavern. Things start heating up on Thursday night with Ghostface Killah, Adrian Younges’ Venice Dawn, and TH3RDZ upstairs at Neumos, and The Quiet Ones, Marty Marquis, and The Young Evils rocking out downstairs at Barboza. Kung Foo Grip, Fresh Espresso, Nissim, Stewart Villian, and DJ Swervewon are at the Crocodile, and Rah Rah, Two Hours Traffic, Day Laborers & Petty Intellectuals are at Sunset Tavern. Mo-Wave: Seattle’s Queer Music & Arts Festival kicks off on Friday night with The Need, Ononos, Shearing Pinx, Glitterbang, Addiquit, My Parade at Chop Suey. Warm Soda, White Mystery, TacocaT, and Bad Motivators are at Comet Tavern, The Revelers are at Royal Room, and Red Jacket Mine, Explone, and Half Rushmore at Skylark Cafe. More Mo-Wave on Saturday at Chop Suey with Betsy Olson, Tenderfoot, Butcher, Blind Photographers, Jordan O’Jordan, Team Dresch, Gaytheist, Big Dipper, Magic Mouth, Night Cadet, Erik Blood, WishBeard, and Eighteen Individual Eyes. OC Notes, Pollens and Amos Miller are at Columbia City Theater, Sam Lachow, Raz Simone, Gift Uh Gab, and Dave B are at Vera Project, and Grynch & Budo is with Turtle T at Hilliard’s Brewery. Mo-Wave finishes up on Sunday night with The Redwood Plan, Pony Time, S, Ade, Dick Binge, Dynasty Handbag, Double Duchess, and Blackie: Tribute to Blondie at Chop Suey.
