  • The National have shared Track 3 from the upcoming Trouble Will Find Me online. "Don't Swallow the Cap" is the second song they've shared from the new LP, along with "Demons", and it proves that loyal fans will be very happy with the new album. "Don't Swallow the Cap" is much more in the vein of the brooding and expansive sound that the band is known for, and with the knowledge that it follows "Demons" for tracks 2 and 3, one can begin to get a picture of the album's scope and mood. Sounds like it'll be a great one. [CoS]

  • Uk band Palma Violets have released a video for their song "We Found Love" and it's sure to brighten up your work-week. Body-mounted cameras follow the band members as they party hard in true bacchanalian, romantic fashion. The uplifting nature of the song and the revelry are matched perfectly, and makes one pleasantly wistful, on a rainy morning, for the dim memories of the weekend. [CoS]

  • Who do teenage girls look to for relationship advice? Atoms for Peace's Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich, of course! If you're wondering how to talk to that shy guy down the hall, check out this 17-minute interview they did for Rookie' "Ask a Grown Man" series.

  • Megan James from Purity Ring appears on the new track "First Time" from Dre Skull, Major Lazer and Snoop Lion cohort, and Dancehall artist Popcaan. The song will be released as a single on April 15th, and will be out on Dre Skull's very own Mixpack Records. [Pitchfork]

  • Swedish post-punk band Holograms are going to release their sophomore LP Flesh & Bone via Captured Tracks on September 3. Their debut was released about a year ago, so to tide their fans over for the long wait 'til September, they've shared the title track "Flesh & Bone". It's a thudding, synth and guitar driven song -- the band manages to be bright and depressive at the same time. Listen to the driving new track below. [CoS]
