  • Laura Marling has teamed up with directors Fred & Nick on a 20-minute long short film When Brave Bird Saved that features the four opening songs of her forthcoming LP Once I Was An Eagle. According to the directors the film is "directly inspired, informed, and narrated" by those first four songs. It's a beautiful work -- the music, the cinematography, the spirit of Laura and her music are all worth taking those twenty minutes to sink into something transcendent. [CoS]

  • British electronic duo Mount Kimbie have released a trippy new video for their song "Made to Stray". The song is the single off their latest Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, and the psychedelic swirling colors fits the mood of the glitchy electronic track. Check it out the clip below. [CoS]

  • Singer of the now-disbanded Concretes Victoria Bergsman released Other Worlds last year -- her third under the moniker Taken By Trees. A highlight of the beautiful, dance-ready, and ethereal album is the steel-drum-laden easy flowing "Only You" -- and the new video for the song features a blindfolded Bergsman swaying and singing on a dance floor full of people making out. • The Dirty Projectors are the latest to take on Phoenix's new single "Entertainment". Their remix features a lot of the rhythmic complexity to be expected from Longstreth and co., but the way the song feels in this new, more Dirty-Projectors-esque, environment is interesting. The focus becomes Thomas Mars' vocal, and the instrumental becomes more subdued but also more frenetic. You can stream or download the song at Stereogum.
