Bonnaroo 2013 Schedule Announced!

Following Sasquatch's lead, this year's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has released their schedule, which has done a pretty good job at keeping potential conflicts away from the Farm. (I'm looking at you, "Sigur Ros vs. Phoenix vs. New Order" Coachella.) Traditionally, Thursday has been a showcase for up-and-coming artists, so there's no official headliner. However, this year hosts sets from Alt-J, Japandroids. Allen Stone, Purity Ring, Django Django, and Father John Misty. The festival kicks off in earnest on Friday, and with it comes the weekend's first conflicts. Of Monsters and Men or Glen Hansard? Foals or Grizzly Bear? Wilco or Jim James? Fortunately, Paul McCartney's two-and-a-half hour set is unopposed (would anyone really want to go up against him, though?), and late night sets from Wu-Tang Clan and a 2:00-4:00 a.m. set from Animal Collective are easy picks. Saturday is relatively conflict free until the evening, when Nas, Dirty Projectors, and Cat Power all overlap slightly. The worst conflict of the day (and weekend) comes right after, when Bjork and Beach House play at the exact same time. After picking between an absolute legend and a band at the top of their game, the Rock 'n Soul Superjam with Jim James, Empire of the Sun, and uh, R. Kelly look to be late night's most interesting choices. Sunday follows Saturday's lead and saves all of its conflicts for a two-hour stretch, where The National, David Byrne & St. Vincent, Divine Fits, and Tame Impala all slightly overlap, but the afternoon is completely conflict-free, with sets from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, and Jeff The Brotherhood all locking in with each other.
