  • After selling out their first show (Dec. 12) at Key Arena in just 15 minutes, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis decided to add a second performance on December 11. That one sold out in two hours. The guys have so much love for their hometown that they've now added a third show, this one is set for December 10. The tickets go on sale at 10AM tomorrow and are available at the Key Arena Box Office or Ticketmaster. You better set an alarm on your phone, because if the past serves any lesson, these tickets won't last longer than the blink of an eye. [KOMO]

  • Scottish electropop trio CHVRCHES shared their cover of HAIM's "Falling" on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Late. While this new version is missing the bounce and lightness of the original, the addition of synths and Lauren Mayberry's vocals really allow it to stand on its own. Look out for CHVRCHES' debut album, The Bones of What You Believe, that will drop on September 24. [Stereogum]

  • Seattle composer Jherek Bischoff has shared the video for the opening track from his 2012 album, Composed. "Eyes" is a beautiful and complex song that features vocals by David Bryne. Of course, the video consists of close-ups of Bischoff and Bryne's eyes (obviously) and several sting instruments. Take a look below. [Pitchfork]

  • Kanye West's music has always been ripe for remixing and his recently released Yeezus has to be a producer's dream. D.C. based producer Nate Belasco brilliantly decided to combine Kanye's "Black Skinhead" with Tame Impala's "Elephant." I can't even wrap my head around how seamlessly these two tracks coalesce. It's available for download here. [CoS]

  • Islands have announced a new full length album, entitled Ski Mask (that will drop in September) as well as the album's first single, "Wave Forms." The band will head out on a tour through North America this fall and will hit Seattle's The Vera Project on September 20. [Pitchfork]

  • The Black Keys can add a new award to their stack of Grammys. The successful rock duo sponsored the very successful West Akron Baseball League Orioles, who went undefeated this season. Now everyone wants copies of the The Black Keys-imprinted orange jerseys. Maybe on their next tour?[MTV]
