The world-famous record label Sub Pop turned 25 over the weekend and to commemorate the occasion, on Saturday, thousands of people congregated in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood for an all-day live music event featuring Built to Spill, Mudhoney, Father John Misty, J. Mascis, Jack Endino's Earthworm, King Tuff, METZ, Shearwater, The Baptist Generals and many others. It was almost too much fun for one day... almost. Gathered here are some images capturing the day’s success, the day’s geniuses and the day’s celebration of one of the most important labels in rock music history. And check out all that plaid and long hair!
