Yes, yes, we're all excited that the Postal Service is playing tonight at Key Arena. But did you know that long before the Postal Service there was a band from Chicago called The Service? Neither did I until just now, but based on Trouser Press's description, this sounds like an '80s college radio nerd's dream band. ("At times resembling the Replacements, elsewhere following an unselfconscious '60s path, Nonsense is anything but.") I wish the KCMU reviewers had been more descriptive, but we see here a perfect illustration of the problem of having weird/interesting album art: DJs will often be more likely to make jokes about the cover than get into the music itself.
