KEX Hostel, our friendly hosts for KEXP's Iceland Airwaves broadcast each year, are throwing a party tomorrow honoring our ongoing collaboration. The aptly named KEXPort features a marathon set of 12 bands in 12 hours, barely scratching the surface of the available talent in Reykjavik, and includes current KEXP favorites like Hjaltalín, Moses Hightower, and Boogie Trouble among others you're likely to discover.

Here's the lineup for the second annual KEXPort:

  • Moses Hightower
  • Sísý Ey
  • Kippi Kaninus
  • Loji
  • Friðrik Dór
  • Nolo
  • Boogie Trouble
  • Babies
  • Hjaltalín
  • Muck
  • SYKUR
  • Samúel Jón Samúelsson Big Band

Of course, if you happen to be in Iceland, we'd love for you to drop by, but in the very likely case that you're in Seattle or elsewhere, we'll bring you the event here on the KEXP blog. For now, check out a few videos from 2012's KEXPort plus a few of the bands we've recorded at Airwaves in the past:
