Quasi, the Portland based duo (and formerly married couple) of Janet Weiss and Sam Coomes, dropped the official video for "You Can Stay But You Gotta Go" today. The song comes from their upcoming album, Mole City, which is set to release on October 1. Maybe the secret to getting along with you're ex is making fuzzy, throwback rock music and wearing an assortment of oddly hilarious costumes. These two may be onto something! [Stereogum]

As Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich proved in their recent outcry against Spotify, all is still not right in the digital music business. Most recently, singer-songwriter Aimee Mann filed a potentially multi-million dollar lawsuit claiming unlicensed use of copyrighted material by digital music distributor MediaNet, who supply "more than 22 million songs to over 40 music services". Their summer hit "I Love It" has completely taken over the world, it's in commercials, movie trailers, and on virtually every radio station. And now Icona Pop will presumably continue their musical reign, because they've officially announced the release of their debut album, This Is...Icona Pop (out September 24). To keep their ever-growing fan base satiated, the Swedish duo have shared a new single called "All Night", a song likely to infiltrate the airwaves soon! [CoS]

Brooklyn synthpop duo Holy Ghost! is keeping extra busy as we fast forward into the latter half of 2013. In the next few weeks they will embark on an extensive tour (they will hit Seattle in October) and on September 10 the band will drop their new album, Dynamics. They've generously shared a track that will not appear on the album. The lyric video for "Teenagers in Heat" takes you through all the NYC hotspots with what appears to be old-school footage. Last month we brought you Ernest Greene's, a.k.a. Washed Out's, lyric video for his single "Don't Give Up," but today we have the official music video. It may seem like it, but I promise you aren't watching National Geographic or those Planet Earth DVDs. [CoS]

It's been about a week since Kings of Leon dropped their newest single "Supersoaker." Last night, the Nashville rockers stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform the track and promote their new album, Mechanical Bull (out September 24). Watch below. [Stereogum]
