  • The Postal Service has spent this year celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Give Up, with a re-release and a huge world tour. Now, director Justin Mitchell has brought us a 14 minute documentary about the band called, Some Idealistic Future. The documentary features interviews with each band member, live concert footage, and Ben Gibbard describing his song writing process. This is a wonderful opportunity to look into the lives and minds of one of the greatest groups of collaborators. [Pitchfork]

  • Today, Nine Inch Nails began their live comeback tour at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. This happens to be their first time on the road together in four years. Thanks to one YouTuber there is footage of them performing a brand new track off their upcoming Hesitation Marks. Take a listen to “Find My Way” below. [CoS]

  • Brooklyn band MINKS‘ have shared a new track off of their upcoming, Tides End, album. “Margot” takes you on a dreamy, romantic journey filled with swooning vocals and classic West Coast sound. These New Yorkers really know how to capture that effortless, beachy feel. [Stereogum]

  • Last night, The Lonely Island stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform their Digital Short track “YOLO.” Fallon takes on Adam Levine’s part, but it’s Black Shadow of The Roots that really steals the show. He makes Kendrick Lamar’s original verse look so easy. [CoS]
