This Friday, KEXP and Seattle Center continue with Concerts at the Mural, a series of free concerts at Seattle Center's Mural Amphitheater, featuring Cloud Cult, Deep Sea Diver and Chastity Belt.
Long time KEXP faves Cloud Cult will headline the night with what's sure to be an musically epic and emotionally uplifting performance of songs from their vast catalog and from their 2013 release, Love.
Sharing the bill are two equally impassioned Seattle groups: the melodic, Jessica Dobson-led Deep Sea Diver and the angsty, acerbic and entertaining Chastity Belt.
The Concert at the Mural series began in 2008, in collaboration between KEXP and Seattle Center, and marks the summer with free, family-friendly live performances during the first four Fridays in August. Open spaces for picnic blankets and lawn chairs create a perfect, relaxed view of the show. Come enjoy live music on a warm summer night! The event is all-ages, but there is a beer garden for audience members 21 and over plus snacks for all to enjoy. The show will begin at 5:30PM at the Mural Stage.
