KEXP Suggests: Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series featuring My Goodness this Friday

If you’re not spending your lunch time downtown, you’re missing out. On Wednesdays and Fridays at noon, the Metropolitan Improvement District in cooperation with Downtown Seattle Association presents the Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series, featuring a diverse lineup of bands and artists performing for free at various public locations downtown. Zoe Muth and the Lost High Rollers, Portland Cello Project and The Dusty 45’s have already performed in the series, which began last month and runs through September.

This Friday, August 23rd, local duo My Goodness, today’s featured Song of the Day podcast artist, will perform at Seattle’s Waterfront Park. The talented blues/garage rock band will take the stage between noon and 1:30PM for this free event. Take a break and grab lunch at a nearby restaurant, then enjoy live, local music while the summer lasts!
