Bass Drum of Death's new video chronicles one girl's run-in with pretty much every kind of "Bad Reputation" inducing incident possible - there's a stolen car, a swig of whiskey, a game of dice, and a pretty hooker. Throw in some stabbing, revenge, and cigarettes, and you've got everything a raucous garage soundtrack has ever needed in a short film. [Stereogum]

Berlin-based feminist Planningtorock has reworked The Knife's "Full of Fire" from Shaking the Habitual into a homage to Salt 'n' Peppa's "Let's Talk About Sex". The result is a spooky minimal track "Let's Talk About Gender Baby, Let's Talk About You And Me". The last time the two worked together was for the experimental opera Tomorrow, In A Year, back in 2010. [Stereogum]

Solange returns to Houston for her video for "Lovers in the Parking Lot" from True. An empty Kings Flea Market is the perfect multifaceted background for her glittering and glowing outfits. Solange is an wondrously awkward dancing machine who captivates the few security guards and randoms who occupy the market late at night. The video was directed by Emily Kai Bock who directed the super similar video for Grimes' "Oblivion". [Fader]

Nicolas Jaar has a new track, "Paper Trails", from his upcoming project with Dave Harrington. Part backwoods deep vocals, part snapping regular beats and shimmering tambourine, the track is eerily dance-inducing. Their collaboration, Darkside, will release Psychic on October 8th. [Pitchfork]

I once described Dustin Wong's music to a friend as sounding like a thousand golden bubbles of joy all flowing upwards at once, and I stand to it following the release of Mediation Of Ecstatic Energyyesterday. Today, he has given us the video for "Speeding Feathers Staring". The track barely sounds like a guitar, instead starting in a realm of strange abstractions that slowly give way to easier to hear guitars and finally, cresting the wave of color and delight, jubilant soaring vocals.
