K Records' Arrington De Dionyso shape shifts easily - between a rather normal looking young individual and a sprawling, terrifying, rapping shaman as part of Malaikat Dan Singa. The PNW has produced some rather odd things over the years, but to see Dionyso pop on some fake teeth and instantly transform into a possibly insane wordsmith is among the oddest and most awesome. "I Manipulate the Form'd and the Formless" video is directed by Lucinda Roanoke. [Spin]

Foals have released the video for "Out of the Woods", the next single from their album, Holy Fire. With the same quiet drama that they are so apt at building, the video follows a woman through a seemingly normal, if lonely day, before everything shifts and day becomes night. [Pitchfork]

NSFW: While probably not that great for all audiences, Oneohtrix Point Never's new video for "Still Life(Betamale)" is so important it can't not be posted. A sickening mash up of internet cultures generally unexplored underbelly diced up and served to people who have rarely, if ever glanced sideways this fragmented realm. And above it all a robotic woman's voice speaking soothingly about eternity and the self, while ambient oscillations entomb your ears. It may be the most breathtakingly beautiful and horrific video of the year. [Pitchfork]

If you recall Jon Hopkins teamed up with Purity Ring vocalist Megan James a while back to release the delicate single "Breathe This Air". Now, there is a similarly delicate video for that track. In it, two apparently unrelated stories eventually wind together as one lovely and sad trail. What's happened to both characters is a mystery, but clearly they are held together by traumas both past and present. [Pitchfork]

As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, we have a psychological thriller of current music in Poliça's new single. "Smug" is breathy and steady, as synths wind up behind Channy Leaneagh's clinging vocals. Is that a gospel choir in the background or just the wind in the trees? [Pitchfork]

Chillwave is definitely a summer vibe, and Small Black is ending our summer with the wanderlust inducing, or wanderlust summation, video for "Breathless". No allusions to French films here, except maybe in the focus on the still faces of all kinds of youth. [Spin]
