  • Bigmouth Strikes Again: Morrissey's autobiography has been slated for an October 17th release date in the UK on the Penguin Classics imprint -- yes, the division usually reserved for classic literature. "I've been through the whole life in many ways, and I just wonder if 660 pages are too much for people to bear," Morrissey told BBC Radio 4. "And then I sit down and think, well, are six pages too much for people to bear?" [Pitchfork]

  • Earlier this week, we reported that famed weirdos The Flaming Lips were collaborating on an EP with Tame Impala, but last night, the Oklahoma group topped that collaboration by appearing on "Late Show With David Letterman" with Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band.
