  • KEXP just wrapped up our annual Iceland Airwaves Music Festival broadcast this past weekend, including an off-air session with Múm. And today, the band have premiered a remix from none other than fellow Icelander, Jónsi of Sigur Rós! Check it out below, and check out all our Iceland Airwaves coverage on the KEXP Blog here. • As we reported last month, Morrissey has a new autobiography out now in the UK, creatively titled, Autobiography. (Really, Moz? We know you can do better than that.) Now it has been announced that the audiobook version will be read by Morrissey -- as in, David Morrissey, the actor behind such roles as “the Governor” from TV’s The Walking Dead. In unrelated news, Morrissey was recently hospitalized after suffering a concussion. Autobiography will see a US release date on December 3rd, with the audiobook to be released December 5th. • Chvrches have shared a new video for the single “Lies,” off their debut Bones of What You Believe (check out an in-depth review of the album here). Check out the video below, and check out our live performance videos from MusicFestNW here. [Pitchfork]

  • Earlier this year, The Replacements fulfilled DJ Kevin Cole’s dreams by reuniting for the Songs for Slim EP, a benefit EP for guitarist Slim Dunlap. (More details on the KEXP Blog here.) Well, now it’s been announced that there will be a two-CD set out November 11th titled Songs for Slim: Rockin Here Tonight, featuring Jeff Tweedy, Craig Finn, The Jayhawks, and the ‘Mats, natch. Proceeds continue to benefit Dunlap, who sadly suffered from a stroke. [Pitchfork]
