  • The Flaming Lips are offering some pretty amazing material in honor of this month's Record Store Day Back To Black Friday. One album is a complete cover of Stone Roses' debut album that features contributions from Foxygen, Poliça, Spaceface, Peaking Lights, Stardeath, and several others. The other is a collaborative EP between the Lips and Tame Impala, on which they cover each others songs. [Pitchfork]

  • On Thursday, November 21, VH1 will air a special You Oughta Know concert, which was recorded in New York City earlier this week. Below we have a sneak peek of what is sure to be one of the best cover/collaborations in recent memory. Rising sister trio HAIM and pop superstar Lorde lend their unique styles to Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough" and just this 50 second preview has me dying. [CoS]

  • M.I.A. has never been one to tread lightly, so when her new video for "Y.A.L.A." opens with an epilepsy warning, you know you're in for some crazy. It's four minutes of day-glow closeups of M.I.A.'s mean mug and random, flashing color swirls. There's no sense to be made here, but I do love the neon manicure. [Stereogum]

  • British electronic duo Disclosure have shared their funky new track, "Together." This fresh disco track is a collaboration with Sam Smith and producer Nile Rogers (Daft Punk's "Get Lucky") so it's no surprise that "Together" is beyond brilliant. [Stereogum]

  • Daughn Gibson's video for his stunning track "Phantom Rider" is the stuff of nightmares. His deep, sultry vocals paired with a face melting into a skull will haunt you in the best possible way. One minute just singing along, then he's shirtless, and suddenly he's a skeleton, and then BAM! he's fine again. The only constant are the flames of hell burning behind him. [SPIN]
