Congrats to Seattle band La Luz, whose first music video from their debut, It's Alive, is currently being premiered on Entertainment Weekly's website. The Carlos Lopez-directed video for "Big Big Blood" embraces the dark side of the group's 60's surf sound with its aptly retro horror show imagery. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart has shared an out-of-the-box, animated music video for his track "Taurobolium." This trippy video stars the voice of actress Rose McGowan, of Charmed fame, as Gale and Banhart himself as Mondo, a duck navigating the disappointing world of Hollywood. [CoS]

• For a while, word has been circulating that Drake will produce a posthumous collection of Aaliyah's previously unheard material. Well now he has shared an unknown track of Aaliyah's in the form of a quick 14-second Instagram video. Let's hope he will eventually share the whole thing. • It's been two years in the making, but The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have finally shared their video for "Belong." The video was shot as a fun ode to MTV's 90's show Alternative Nation, they even call their show "Alternative Notions." The makeup and costumes are spot on for the 90s. [SPIN]

• British singer Sam Smith will blow you away with his soulful crooning on his new song "Money on my Mind." Contrary to what the title suggests, Smith is singing about his love of the art instead of a thirst for wealth.
