With her otherworldly voice, it's hard to pinpoint where songwriter Cameron Mesirow, better as Glasser, is from. Upon first listen to her ethereal electronic sounds and acrobatic soprano voice, you might be inclined to guess she's from Iceland, but the L.A. artist actually just relocated to New York City. It's this recent upheaval that helped influence her most recent album Interiors, out now on True Panther. As she explained to DJ Morgan, the new album is, "about the idea of home, and which structures connote home for a person, and when they end up being just your body. That's a really weird experience. Like a weird internal snail shell." We're glad Mesirow emerged from her shell, accompanied by renowned percussionist Shayna Dunkelman, for this delicately powerful in-studio session. Watch below:
