  • Beck’s 12th full-length album, Morning Phase, won’t be out until February 25th, but you can stream it in its entirety online starting today. Already being touted as the “sequel to Sea Change,” see what you think of this introspective new release from this musical innovator. Also, mark your calendars: Beck has been slated as the Saturday Night Live musical guest for March 1st. [NPR]

  • Stream more new music, this time from UK trio Fujiya & Miyagi who will have KEXP DJs tongue-tripping on the title of their latest track, “Tetrahydrofolic Acid.” No release date yet for their upcoming next album, but enjoy this instrumental slice of electro-house in the meantime. [Stereogum]

  • If you saw Superchunk or Bob Mould perform in KEXP’s Bumbershoot Music Lounge last year, you may have noticed bass player, Jason Narducy, performing in both those bands. Narducy is now stepping into the frontman role for his project, Split Single, bringing along Superchunk/Bob Mould drummer, Jon Wurster, and Spoon frontman Britt Daniel. His debut album, Fragmented World, comes out April 1st. [Pitchfork]

  • Wondering what Radiohead‘s Kid A might taste like? Chef Kyle Hanley has the answer: he’s crafted a 10-course meal inspired entirely by the band’s 2000 release, which he will be serving up on one night only on Wednesday, February 19th, at Detroit’s Elizabeth Theater. According to Consequence of Sound, “Hanley said he and his business partner are considering turning the event into a monthly series inspired by different albums.” I can’t wait for the Primus Pork Soda night! • If you missed it on Valentine’s Day, The National released a lovely new video for the track “I Need My Girl,” off their most recent release, Trouble Will Find Me. The elegant clip, directed by Sophia Peer, captures couples dancing. Watch below: [Under the Radar]
