Seattle's Wishbeard is one of those great bands that keeps the high hat and snare drum going. This is part of what makes them eminently danceable. With etherial guitars and vocal shouts like wolves howling into the night, the drum keeps a tight, pushing rhythm highlighted by the quickly hit snares and cymbals. This is supremely evident in their hit single "Strawberry '79", which boasts the lyrics, "If you wanna keep me, better lock me up!" The four-piece, which got together in 2012, has also worked with producer Erik Blood on prior projects and notes to Audioasis host DJ Sharleese that they will continue to work with the famed Seattle producer in the future.
