  • The Black Angels are gearing up to drop a brand new EP just in time for Record Store Day (April 19). Clear Lake Forest will include seven fresh tracks that will be pressed on limited-edition clear vinyl. The Austin outfit have shared a tasty little tease called "Diamond Eyes," the EP's first single. The sweeping blues guitar and sweet southern infusion will leave you desperate for more. [CoS]

  • Black Lips newest album Underneath the Rainbow is available TODAY via Vice. The band marked this occasion by releasing the video for the album track "Justice After All." It's an eclectic mash-up of live performance footage, classic film scenes, and the band wandering the streets of Atlanta. The real selling point of the video is the song itself. [Stereogum]

  • Also premiering today is a new video by DC-based trio Ex Hex, featuring former Helium frontwoman and Wild Flag member Mary Timony. Though it's only a taste of what's to come — it's of the band's debut 7-inch single, "Hot and Cold", also out today on Merge Records — this foodfest, directed by Portland's Lara Gallagher, out to keep you full for a while:

  • After 16 days of teasing a few bands at a time, Pickathon has released the full 2014 lineup, and it's a doozy! Warpaint, X, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Parquet Courts, Jonathan Richman, Courtney Barnett, Angel Olsen, Mac DeMarco, and many others fill out the diverse roster. Find out more here.

  • Last night Arcade Fire's Reflector tour landed them in Philadelphia where they decided to pay homage to one of the city's most famous local artists. The band blew doors of conventionality and delivered an incredible cover of Boys II Men's hit "Motownphilly." Thanks to some fan video, you can enjoy this genre defying gem, below. [CoS]

  • Rapper Bishop Nehru has shared the video for "You Stressin'," his amazing collaboration with Disclosure. It's almost like an animated lyrical video that fits typical Dislosure style. Nehru and MF DOOM will release a new LP called NehruvianDOOM sometime later this year. [Pitchfork]
