  • Ex-Red Red Meat frontman Tim Rutili’s music project Califone have revealed a dazzling video for “Magdalene” from last year’s Stitches album. The song itself is flawless and the amazing animation manages to elevate it further. Enjoy a stunning five-minute reprieve from reality, below. [Stereogum]

  • Merrill Garbus, better known as tUnE-yArDs, will drop her upcoming album Nikki Nack on May 6. Her new album single “Wait For a Minute” is as brilliantly weird as it is addicting. [Pitchfork]

  • British rockers Klaxon‘s will release their third album Frequency on June 9 and it’s sure to be a doozy. The band has described it as a place where, “RnB production, prog and dance music sensibilities collide somewhere near the summit of Hit Parade.” Hear this dazzling combination at work in their new track “Atom to Atom.” [CoS]

  • Atmosphere have shared their new track “Kanye West.” When you name your song after someone as ambitious and (for lack of a better word) noteworthy as Yeezus himself, you’ve got to have the power to back it up. Luckily, the Minnesota rap duo pull it off with style. “Kanye West” will appear on their upcoming album Southsiders (out May 6). [Pitchfork]

  • Uncertainty Remixes, the obviously titled EP of Jagwar Ma‘s track “Uncertainty” is available now via Mom + Pop. Check out fellow Aussie Cut Copy‘s sprawling eight-minute interpretation of the song. [Stereogum]
