  • Twin Shadow has shared his new song “To The Top,” an intense, pounding percussion anthem about starting over. His statement about the song offers a glimpse into the song’s inspiration. He said, “What is it when you realize that someone isn’t right for you? Or when you find that you do not and can not posses someone entirely? You want someone so bad and it feels like hell.” Hey, we’ve all been there. [Pitchfork]

  • Echo & the Bunnymen have been churning out fantastic music for well over three decades and their latest installment Meteorites will drop on June 3. The album’s first single “Lovers On The Run” is a dazzling track that has the 80’s nostalgia one would expect from these British new wavers. [Stereogum]

  • Real Estate teamed up with comedy directer Tom Scharpling to direct their newest video for “Crime.” Comedian Andy Daly actually portrays Scharpling and it gets very meta from there. He ends up making some questionable creative decisions to ease his money troubles. Check it out. [Stereogum]

  • Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, has previewed an upcoming EP called Sideways. For this particular release Hebden is using his other alias, Percussions. The first taste, “Blatant Water Cannon,” is a sprawling six-minute mix that will undoubtedly find its home on a South Beach dance floor. [CoS]
