  • KEXP knows all about the power of a Colin Meloy cameo in your video, and today, Bob Mould taps into the Decemberists’ talent with his new video for the track “I Don’t Know You Anymore.” Filmed in Portland by director Alicia J. Rose, the clip shows Mould moving into the modern age (#IDKYA). Mould’s new album, Beauty & Ruin, hits stores tomorrow from Merge Records, and he and his cohorts will be LIVE on KEXP Tuesday, June 10th from the Cutting Room Studios in New York City. • As one of the highlights of Sasquatch, anticipation is high for the next full-length from Swedish sister duo First Aid Kit. Even though their third album Stay Gold won’t hit stores until June 10th, you can stream it now via NPR Music. [NPR Music]
  • Eels are coming to town, playing this Saturday, June 7th at the Moore, and man, oh man, fingers crossed that Journey frontman Steve Perry jumps on stage the way he has been for the band’s St. Paul and Washington DC dates. It marks the first time in 19 years that the ’80s arena-rock icon has taken to the stage. Finally, a concert I can take my Dad to! Watch footage from last night’s DC show below: [Stereogum]

  • Speaking of unlikely pairings, Morrissey teams up with, uh, Pamela Anderson for his latest spoken word video for the track “Earth Is the Loneliest Planet.” How can he be lonely with the Baywatch beauty by his side? Maybe that’s his point. His tenth album World Peace Is None of Your Business hits stores on July 15th. [Under the Radar]

  • Someone else with the ’80s on his mind is alt-country troubadour Ryan Adams who recently busted out a surprisingly soulful take of the Pointer Sisters’ 1984 single “Neutron Dance.” Watch him serenade the audience at the annual Code Conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, below.
