  • Just last November, husband-and-wife duo Tennis shared their EP Small Sounds and now they’re back with a full-length album called Ritual in Repeat. It was produced by Richard Swift (the Shins), Patrick Carney (The Black Keys), and Jim Eno (Spoon) and will drop on September 9. Listen to the LP’s first single “Never Work For Free” for a taste of what’s to come. [Pitchfork]

  • A week before it’s scheduled release, Tom Vek‘s new album Luck is available for online streaming in full. This is the British multi-instrumentalist’s third studio album and according to the press release it features “some of the biggest beats of Vek’s career.” Listen below. [CoS]

  • It’s been four years since their debut, and Avi Buffalo have finally announced their plans to release a sophomore album later this year. At Best Cuckold was recorded in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco with frontman Avi Zahner-Isenberg doubling as the album’s producer. Hear the opening track “So What” below. [Stereogum]

  • To benefit the OneKid OneWorld charity, Rob Kutner (“The Daily Show”) and the Levinson Brothers (“Tonight Show”) have created a comedy-music compilation called 2776: A Millennium of American Asskickery (out July 4). The impressive list of contributors includes: Will Arnett, Yo La Tengo, Patton Oswalt, Neko Case, Margaret Cho, Ed Helms, Ashanti, and numerous others. Neko Case and Kelly Hogan‘s offering is a hilarious look at a sci-fi future dictated by nerdy boys. [Pitchfork]
