What's the best thing about the Seattle band Country Lips? Is it their name? Maybe. Is it their traditional Americana music? Getting close... Is it that they get people to dance and dance often? Yes! In a city not known for it's folk music, accordion playing and hip shaking, Country Lips bring the best out of their considerable audiences - whether that's on the dance floor of the Little Red Hen or the big sold out Tractor Tavern - and people shimmy, two-step and cut a rug with them, for sure. The band has amassed quite a following in the three years since they got together and it's well deserved. See why exactly that is here, with their live in-studio performance at KEXP:
