Seattle ain't messin' around when we call ourselves the "City of Music"! In fact, for 36 years now, the city gives us free afternoon concerts with the Out to Lunch Summer Concert Series, thanks to the Metropolitan Improvement District in cooperation with the Downtown Seattle Association. These public, all ages shows are take place from Noon to 1:30 PM in various parks and venues across downtown every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday starting July 9th through September 5th.

This year's lineup boasts over 25 acts, but KEXP is especially excited to sponsor sets from Bay Area rocker Chuck Prophet, three-time Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto, Jamaican reggae artist Clinton Fearon & the Boogie Brown Band, and beloved local artists Hey Marseilles, The Maldives, The Dusty 45s, The Horde & the Harem, and Kris Orlowski. Check out the complete line-up here, along with a list of locations from Belltown to Pioneer Square. Bring your sack lunch!
