  • Danish post-punk band Iceage have been pretty quiet since last year's sophomore release You're Nothing on Matador Records, but today they break the ice with a new track, "The Lord's Favorite", which you can stream below. They've also shared dates for a North American tour, with no Seattle date... yet? [Pitchfork]

  • R&B electro-pop maestro Tom Krell, aka How to Dress Well, just released his excellent new album, What Is This Heart? (read the KEXP review here). If you get the deluxe edition, you'll also get a 28-page photo booklet and a bonus 10-inch featuring two non-album tracks, including the one streaming below. Check it out: [Consequence of Sound]

  • It's a friendship as unlikely as Blanche and Rose, but, of course, it totally works: L.A.-based electro-punks Liars have gotten their hands on the track "Golden Girls" by folkster Devendra Banhart. Check out their remix below, featuring a little tribute to the real Golden Girls. [Under the Radar]

  • As we shared earlier this month, Brooklyn duo The Drums have returned after a three-year absence with the new single "Magic Mountain." Watch the "magical" video for the track below, and keep an eye out for the full-length, Encyclopedia, out 9/24 on Minor Records. The Drums bring the beat back to Seattle on Thursday, October 9th at Neumos. [Stereogum]
