  • Seeing as how the name Diarrhea Planet sounds like it could be an animated show on the Adult Swim TV channel, it's no surprise the band has contributed a track to their annual summer series.   • Yesterday we reported that Jenny Lewis was releasing a wine to go with her new album. Not to be outdone, today, The New Pornographers have shared they'll be releasing their own coffee to accompany their upcoming album, Brill Bruisers, out August 26th via Matador Records. The "Brill Brew" will be a collaboration with Chicago-based brewer Intelligentsia Coffee, who describe the blend as "cheerful and sweet," containing flavors of “mango, nectarine, and green apple shine."   • When Ryan Adams "doesn't feel great or feels out of place," his brand of music medicine is the Grateful Dead. Adams teamed up with MyMusicRx, an organization that brings music to children hospitalized with cancer, and performed a sweet rendition of the Dead's "Warf Rat." [Stereogum]
