No, drummer Jon Wurster didn't get a new hairstyle — that's Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins joining Bob Mould on stage last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Watch the temporary trio perform the track "The War" below. Bob returns to Seattle with his usual posse of Wurster and bassist Jason Narducy on Tuesday, September 23rd at The Neptune. Zola Jesus (real name: Nika Roza Danilova) returns this fall with her fifth full-length album, Taiga, out 10/7 on Mute. Today, she shares the video for the single "Dangerous Days," directed by Run The Jewels collaborator Tim Saccenti. A press release states: "The song is a pure emotional plea, a future primitive call to arms. To create a moment of light in these dark times was our hope. Eschewing a heavy narrative we let the images of the Earth, filmed in wide screen and mixed with a tense unnatural presence, wash over the viewer while Nika communicates her powerful message." Former LCD Soundsystem-frontman James Murphy has another kooky project up his sleeve: he's currently teaming up with IBM and the U.S. Open to "use the raw data from tennis matches to generate an algorithm that will transform each match into a unique song.
