  • Time heals all wounds: NBC is lifting a 30-year ban on The Replacements, allowing them to play The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tomorrow night, Tuesday, September 9th. The band got banished from 30 Rockefeller Plaza in 1987 after a particularly rambunctious performance on Saturday Night Live, which you can watch below: [Spin]

  • Ty Segall has shared a new video today that's just as trippy as the psych-rock delights on his latest album, Manipulator. For the title track, director Matt Yoka features the artist against an ever-shifting collage of nightmarish backgrounds. You can even check out an interactive version of the video here, which allows you to control what bizarre scenario Segall lands in. Watch the non-interactive Director's Cut below: [Under the Radar]

  • It can finally drink legally (but chances are, it's been drinking all along): The Afghan Whigs celebrate the anniversary of their album Gentlemen with a deluxe edition reissue called Gentlemen at 21, out October 28th via Rhino. Along with the remastered album, it'll provide rarities, demos, B-sides, and live performances. You can even pick up a limited-edition triple-LP vinyl version on November 28th for Record Store Day's Black Friday. Cheers! [Pitchfork]

  • More new videos: Brooklyn band Parquet Courts use live footage for the clip to "Bodies Made Of," another excellent track off their latest Sunbathing Animal. Watch the video below, filmed at the Sugar Hill Supper Club in Bedford Stuyvesant. (And watch more live performance from the band with their KEXP in-studio session here.) [Stereogum]
