Video Roundup: Bob Dylan Revisited

This weekend, Bob Dylan and his Band will sing out from the beautiful stage at The Paramount for a three-night engagement, from Friday, October 17th to Sunday, October 19th. The Seattle dates actually kick off the North American portion of what’s being called Never Ending Tour 2014, a joking reference to the fact that Dylan has been on the road relentlessly since 1988.

One thing that’s surely “never ending” is Dylan’s influence. He’s been called “The Voice of a Generation,” and that voice has resonated for nearly half a century. In honor of his visit, KEXP has compiled a collection of covers, from bands as diverse as Ministry to The Chemical Brothers, The Ramones to Echo and the Bunnymen. Scroll through our selections to hear Dylan’s distinctive songs revisited by today’s artists.
