  • Last month, Belle and Sebastian announced their new album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance and they shared it's January 20 release date. Today they've graced us with their new single "Party Line." It's a funky, dance number with a perfect blend of 80's nostalgia. [Pitchfork]

  • On February 17, 2015 José González will release Vestiges & Claws, his first solo album since 2007's In Our Nature. The album was recorded in his home and self-produced. Gonzales released a statement saying, "I didn’t want this to be too polished, or too ‘in your face.’ Most of all, it’s fun to be in complete control of the artistic aspect."   • Former frontman of The Walkmen, Hamilton Leithauser, adds an equally powerful and melancholy visual to go along with his incredible, power ballad "5 AM" . The stunning video was directed by filmmaker Tristan Patterson. [Stereogum]
