Live Video: Alice Boman

Swedish singer-songwriter Alice Boman‘s subtle vocals and delicate instrumentals could get a response from even the chilliest of hearts. The minimalist musician, who released her second EP, EP II, this year, creates such an uncluttered sound that it disguises the fact that she is accompanied by three others.  Boman and her band brought their emotional lyrics and understated aesthetic to KEXP to play songs from their latest EP, one of which John Richards called “one of the prettiest songs” he’s heard at KEXP this year. Get a visual of the band from live video of their evocative set below – it’s the perfect “companion to heartache” everyone should have on standby.
