  • For a song that was supposed to be a joke, Alt-J are really running with the track "Left Hand Free." The UK trio have made yet another video for the single, this time portraying a debaucherous lifestyle, with quite the twist ending. Check it out below, and watch them perform the track LIVE in the KEXP studios on the blog here. [CoS]

  • The xx have shared a few tidbits about their upcoming album, the follow up to 2012's Coexist. They've been recording music all over the world. From Texas, to Iceland, to London, and now they're headed to LA to continue their recording process. While there's no release date or even album title yet, you can check out some live videos from their performance at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC this week. [Pitchfork]

  • It's been over a year since "Hell of A Night" was released and Schoolboy Q finally graced the world with a music video. According to his twitter, Q only got around to it "cuHz i was bored." Just like the song title suggests, the clip features the rapper attending a wild party in a drug induced haze. [Stereogum]

  • The Flaming Lips were the music guests on "Conan" last night to promote their recent album With a Little Help From My Fwends. The psychedelic rock band were joined by a bedazzled Miley Cyrus during their performance of "A Day In The Life." [Pitchfork]
