  • The snowstorm that has hit the east coast has trapped both Interpol and their tourmates Hundred Waters in their bus. After 50+ hours stuck on the road, and two shows canceled, they started moving a little bit this Thursday morning, only to get stuck again in Buffalo. You can follow the band’s progress on Twitter, thanks to guitarist Daniel Kessler. Sending good thoughts to the bands, their crew, and everyone stuck in the snow in New York. [Pitchfork]

  • Retro-inspired duo She & Him share yet another charming video, this time for their cover of Dusty Springfield’s “Stay Awhile.” Watch as actress/singer Zooey Deschanel dances around with a phantom partner, while guitarist M Ward plays an invisible guitar. Their rendition of this 1964 single will appear on their forthcoming covers album Classics, out December 2nd via Columbia Records. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Dates have been announced for the 2015 All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in Iceland: from July 2-4 next summer, bands Belle & Sebastian, Mudhoney, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Run the Jewels, and more will descend upon the icy landscape. ATP Iceland will take place at Ásbrú, the former Nato air base near Keflavik. Passes are on sale now. []
  • Seattle’s own Soundgarden share a new track today, which will be included on their three-CD rarities collection Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path. Check out the track “Kristi” below, which was originally recorded during the sessions for their 1996 album Down On The Upside. Guitarist Kim Thayil said, “It was always considered an unfinished gem from the sessions. Thanks to producer Adam Kasper and Matt Cameron, who kept reminding the rest of us that it needed to be completed and released. Given a brilliant mix by Adam, this song delivers the doom, foreboding and tension that has long been a signature of much of Soundgarden’s songwriting, especially in our earlier works.‎” Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path hits stores on November 25th via A&M. • Tonight, on the Adult Swim late-night parody The Eric Andre Show, heavyweight (literally, and figuratively) rappers Action Bronson and Killer Mike of Run the Jewels will compete in a rap battle… while on treadmills. Watch a teaser clip of the two hip-hop giants below. The Eric Andre Show airs tonight at 12:15 AM ET on Adult Swim. [Paste]
