  • The unstoppable Dan Boeckner is back with a new synthpop smash from his dance project Operators. Stream the single "Ecstasy In My House" below, out now via Last Gang Records. A full-length album will be out later this year. In the meanwhile, watch last year's KEXP in-studio session here. [Stereogum]

  • You've heard the new songs live, and now you can stream the album version of "Black Sun," the first single off the highly-anticipated Death Cab for Cutie album, Kintsugi. The band have also announced some 2015 tour dates, including an October 3rd stop at The Paramount. Kintsugi hits stores March 31st via Atlantic. [Under the Radar]

  • We've been sharing a few songs from Anacortes-based artist Mount Eerie over the past month, and now NPR Music has the entire album, Sauna, to stream online. Frontman Phil Elverum states in a press release, "This is music meant to weigh heavy on you like a lot of cold water at night, and also the sword glimmering at the bottom of the lake at night." Sauna will be out on February 3rd via his own label, P.W. Elverum & Sun Records. [NPR Music]

  • West coast psych-pop wizard Ariel Pink shares a new video today for the track "Dayzed Inn Daydreams," from his excellent new release pom pom. Director Grant Singer explains, "It's the story of a man, played by Rick Wilder [frontman for the band Mau Mau], who was once the frontman of a band that existed decades ago. Through a series of scenes depicting his everyday life, we tell his story." Watch: [Pitchfork]
