  • Tom Krell, better known as How to Dress Well. and newcomer TĀLĀ have collaborated on a new single as part of Pitchfork's Songs From Scratch series, which gives artists only 24 hours to create and record a song. Below you can hear both artists' versions of their track "The One." [Pitchfork]

  • Last week we shared Jose Gonzalez' new song "Leaf Off/The Cave" and today he's debuted the music video. Gonzalez performs during a First Assembly service in Sweden, while shots of different members of the congregation are shown throughout. Everyone's enthusiasm is contagious. [Stereogum]

  • Four Tet and drummer Emanative have shared a new track called "Makondi." The song serves as his own interpretation of the 1982 single of the same name by jazz artists Don Cherry and Ed Blackwell. The Four Tet version retains the strong tribal influences of the original while giving it an electronic update. [CoS]

  • Singer-songwriter Mackenzie Scott, aka Torres, will release her sophomore album Sprinter on May 5. Today she's unveiled "Strange Hellos," the album's opening track. Don't let the song's soft opening fool you, "Strange Hellos" takes no prisoners. [Stereogum]
