  • Northwest chanteuse Neko Case plans to reissue her 2006 album Fox Confessor Brings the Flood for Record Store Day. The re-release will be pressed on limited edition red vinyl by Anti- Records, and to celebrate, Case will perform a mini-tour in our corner of the country, including stops in Bellingham and Spokane. • Zola Jesus [real name: Nika Roza Danilova], another local luminary, shares a new video today for the track "Hunger" from her most recent release Taiga. Allie Avital Tsypin directed the clip, stating, "The video for ‘Hunger’ is essentially a sculpture project… an exploration of a life form: both raw and refined. A negotiation between form and inner life, movement and stillness, desire and satiation. Working with Nika is always an honest and satisfying collaboration… it was really fun to interpret the song and Nika’s aesthetic sensibilities through film.” [Consequence of Sound]

  • Hip hop duo Run The Jewels also share a new video today for the track "Lie, Cheat, Steal" off their latest RTJ2. Director Ruffmercy spotlights Killer Mike and El-P doing what they do best. Watch: [Stereogum]

  • Long-running and beloved band Calexico are back at it: stream the track "Cumbia de Donde" below from their forthcoming eighth album Edge of the Sun. The new release features guest appearances from Neko Case, Iron & Wine's Sam Beam, Band of Horses' Ben Bridwell, DeVotchka's Nick Urata, Gaby Moreno, Mexican artist Carla Morrison, and others. Edge of the Sun comes out April 14th via Anti-/City Slang. [Pitchfork]
