Musical magician Merrill Garbus, aka tUnE-yArDs, shares a new video today for the track "Wait for a Minute," a soulful piece from last year's album Nikki Nack. CBS recently introduced James Corden as the new host of The Late Late Show, and last night, Modest Mouse got to be his very first musical guest. Watch the Northwest band perform the track "Be Brave" off their latest, Strangers to Ourselves. Modest Mouse will perform Saturday, May 23rd at the Sasquatch Music Festival. Can't wait to hear the latest from Blur? Well, last week, the boys performed their forthcoming release, The Magic Whip, in its entirety in a tiny club in London, and tonight, they'll be airing that performance online here, starting at 8:00 PM GMT (which is 1:00 PM Pacific Time). The Magic Whip hits stores April 28th via Parlophone; it'll be their first new album since 2003's Think Tank. [Pitchfork]

Despite releasing a new album earlier this year under the Les Sins name (which you can check out here on the KEXP Blog), he's also got a new album out this Spring under the moniker he's most known for: Toro y Moi. Portland group Unknown Mortal Orchestra share an appropriately trippy clip for the title track of their forthcoming album, Multi-Love, out May 26th on Jagjaguwar Records. Director Lionel Williams explained in a press release, "It is meant to represent the vacuum of space by impressing upon inter-dimensional unfolding, immaterial objects, and time-driven reverberation of events. The virtual space allows for most 3D objects to trail in time – based on the directions one moves. You can construct & paint the objects in space to stretch them in any direction, to create infinitely vast compositional spaces."
