For as far and wide as East India Youth has traveled over the past couple of years, it's surprising that William Doyle still hasn't really left his bedroom. After wowing listeners with his genre-bending self-produced debut, Total Strife Forever, a pleasantly strife-free auditory adventure, the Londoner has returned with Culture of Volume, a more polished and also more ambitious blend of electronica, baroque pop, neo-classical, ambient, prog, dance and other styles, still completely self-produced. But this time, Doyle's pristine vocals really take the fore, making Culture of Volume very likely the most gorgeous album you'll hear all year.

In advance of the new LP, the video for the atmospheric "Carousel" slowly spun listeners to Doyle's more expansive sound, but today we're happy to announce the release of the second video, "Beaming White", showcasing the album's infectious danceability and deep affinity for 80's New Wave. Watch the video below and be sure to tune in when East India Youth performs LIVE on KEXP on Tuesday, May 5th, at 1PM. He'll also be playing Barboza later that night.
