  • If you haven't seen it yet, Icelandic superstars Of Monsters and Men just released the first official video from their upcoming album, Beneath The Skin. As you await the full-length, due June 9th, you can watch the surreal and frosty wonder of "Crystals":

    • Albert Hammond Jr., guitarist for the Strokes, will drop his third solo album, Momentary Masters, on July 31. This is his first release with Vagrant Records. Hammond Jr. shared the single "Born Slippy," our first taste of the album. [Pitchfork]

    • Hot Chip have launched a new website where you can stream their new album Why Make Sense? a week before its official release (May 18). The site also has an game where you can test your color sensitivity by arranging tiles by hue. You can submit your score for a chance to win a signed copy of the album or concert tickets. [SPIN]

    • Sia has debuted a powerful and haunting rendition of the Mama's and the Papa's classic hit "California Dreamin'." The cover will be featured in the Rock's upcoming film San Andreas. Listen below. [Billboard]

    • It's been over 20 years since folk singer Karen Dalton passed away, and now record label Tompkins Square is releasing a collection of song's that were written by Dalton, but never recorded. Sharon van Etten lends her ethereal voice to the album's first song and title track called "Remembering Mountains." The album will be released on May 26. [Stereogum]
