  • Last night, Conor Oberst's old band Desaparecidos stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers in support of their sophomore release (and first new release in 13 years) Payola.   • Influential rapper and producer Pete Rock has gotten his hands on a Panda Bear track, and you can hear his take on "Crosswords" below. This energy-infused interpretation will appear on the PBVSGR remix EP out digitally June 29th on Domino. Pete just released a new album of his own earlier this week titled Petestrumentals 2.   • Surprise! Electronic producer Nicolas Jaar is offering up the soundtrack to the film The Color of Pomegranates as a free download here. Jaar composed the score to the 1969 Armenian film earlier this year, collaging hours of ambient music he had created over the past two years. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Chaz Bundick (a.k.a. Toro Y Moi) shares a new song today: on this new track, he teams up with former Das Racist rapper Kool A.D. and former Das Racist affiliate SAFE.
