Christopher Owens is in love with himself. Chrissybaby Forever, his third solo album, finds the former Girls frontman getting back to basics by writing and recording almost entirely alone. As ever, his lyrics are blatantly confessional, but the ease of his DIY approach lends a sunny optimism even in songs about dissolution and mere survival. Join Chrissy and his touring band for his retro-tinged in-studio performance live at KEXP.
