It was a busy weekend for Jamie xx: not only did he bring the beats to the Capitol Hill Block Party, but he also released a mix for Apple Music's Beats 1 featuring tracks from The War on Drugs, The Persuasians, Deadboy, Apparat, The Durutti Column, The Doors, and more. It's a good day for Jamies: Jamie Lidell shares a new single, the slow-burner "Pink Light," which you can stream below. It's a stand-alone track from the British-born, now Nashville-based artist; no news on a follow-up to his 2013 self-titled Warp Records release, but enjoy this much for now: [Stereogum]

We've got another new track from the upcoming Craig Finn album, Faith In The Future, to share: stream the single "Maggie, I’ve Been Searching For Our Son" below. The Hold Steady frontman told The Wall Street Journal, "The song is about someone at the end of their time on earth, looking back on their life, but also trying to wrap up a few loose ends." Faith In The Future is out September 11th via Partisan Records. [Consequence of Sound]

UK band Elbow have a new EP coming out next week, and today they share a video for the title track, "Lost Worker Bee." In a statement on their website, frontman Guy Garvey shares, "We’ve always loved the EP as a format and we’ve enjoyed making this one so much I wouldn’t be surprised if there was another before long. All the songs on this EP are set in Manchester city centre. Manchester’s symbol has been the worker bee for hundreds of years and the lead track is about finding love far away from home.
