Ryan Adams announced that he will be covering Taylor Swift's mega-hit album 1989 in its entirety. Although there's no official release date, he's been posting his progress on twitter. TIDAL has been off to a rough start, but now Prince has struck a deal with the streaming service. Prince will release his upcoming album HITNRUN exclusively on TIDAL on September 7. The music legend explained his decision in a statement saying:
"After one meeting, it was obvious that Jay Z and the team he has assembled at TIDAL recognize and applaud the effort that real musicians put in2 their craft 2 achieve the very best they can at this pivotal time in the music industry."
