  • Midday Show faves Spoon plan to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Gimme Fiction with a double-album remastered version, out December 11th via Merge Records. The deluxe edition will feature 12 previously unreleased demos and nine bonus tracks, including the home-recorded version of “Was It You?” that you can stream below. The release also features a full-color book featuring photos and an oral history of the record, which you can get a sneak peek of here. [Pitchfork]

  • Big Boi and Phantogram (aka Big Grams) share a blindingly-cool new clip for the track “Fell In The Sun,” off their self-titled debut EP. According to a press release, the video is inspired by the visual effects you get from staring at the sun too long. Stare at the clip here, via Wetransfer. [Stereogum]
  • The Replacements’ reunion may be over, but ornery frontman Paul Westerberg hasn’t put down his guitar. Instead, he’s teamed up with ’90s heartthrob Juliana Hatfeld to form the duo the I Don’t Cares. Stream their first single “1/2 2 P” below. Their debut full-length, titled Wild Stab, will be out soon. [Pitchfork]

  • Seth Bogart has been better known over the years as the frontman of Hunx and his Punx, but early next year, he’ll release his debut solo album under his real name for Burger Records. Today, he shares the album’s first single, a duet with Queen of the Punx, Kathleen Hanna. Stream the track “Eating Makeup” below: [Spin]

  • Trick or treat? On Halloween night, Sufjan Stevens surprised his audience in Jersey City with his cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” which you can watch fan-shot footage of below. Stevens got help from R&B artist Gallant, and together, the two even busted out some Drake dance moves. Who knew Sufjan had it in him? [Consequence of Sound]
